Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) within the Schools Division Office ensures that programs, projects, and activities are strategically designed, effectively implemented, and continuously improved to support DepEd’s mission of delivering quality, accessible, relevant, and liberating basic education. In this pillar, offices establish clear goals and performance indicators, regularly monitor progress, and assess outcomes based on data-driven evidence and established DepEd standards. By promoting systematic tracking, timely reporting, and informed decision-making, PME strengthens accountability, enhances operational effectiveness, and ensures that resources and efforts are aligned with organizational priorities and learner needs.
